VocalMD Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how VocalMD Inc. collects, uses, shares, and handles information about Individuals via the VocalMD mobile app. Individuals may include primary care providers, specialists, other users of VocalMD services, and patients of VocalMD Clients who provide patient data to VocalMD. Individuals accept the practices described in this Privacy Notice and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of information described herein.

VocalMD collects Individuals’ information on behalf of primary care providers, specialists, medical practices, social workers, nurses, hospitals and health systems, or other companies or allied health providers that serve or may serve Individuals (collectively, “VocalMD Clients”). Individuals may be patients, customers, or employees of VocalMD Clients. This information is collected, stored, used, and transmitted in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Privacy, Security, Breach Notification, and Enforcement Rules at 45 CFR Part 160 and Part 164 (collectively the HIPAA Rules).

This Privacy Notice does not limit collection, use, sharing, or handling by VocalMD of aggregated, deidentified, or anonymized information, provided that the information cannot be associated with an individual.
